As you read these very words there is a devastating new man-made plague of biblical proportions covertly sweeping through all the so-called 'modern' nations of the world. It is called "Multiple Chemical Sensitivity" [MCS]. The number of lives being utterly ruined by it worldwide is growing alarmingly. In America they call us the new homeless - but I prefer the term "miners canaries" for we are, I believe, one of the best barometers of societal health available to 'modern' humanity at this time. We are also probably the best catalyst for change that the medical and scientific communities have with which to finally shrug of their old, crumbling, chemical-mechanistic model of reality.
Powerful corporate forces are constantly hard at work now to marginalise, trivialise, and stigmatise MCS as being "all in the mind" of the sufferer. They will trot out no end of mercenary cigarette scientists and medical 'professionals' to tell you so because they know that their goose will be cooked big time if ever the public wake up to the chemical devastation that is being wreaked daily on their unsuspecting health and the health of their trusting children - all in the cause of vast corporate profits.
In tandem with this is the natural loathing of the status-quo for change and since MCS is a very volatile catalyst for change on a truly staggering scale - much resistance is to be expected. However, the liberating secrets contained within the vilified heart of this man-made chemical plague called MCS have the power to revolutionalise both science and medicine beyond all recognition from the commercially corrupt and lethal institution they have sadly become today. Ushering in a whole new wonderful paradigm shift in the way we understand that most fundamental of all base-lines - "Reality".
The MCS section of the Satori-5 website [ www.satori-5.co.uk ] is dedicated to help usher in that new "reality" by exposing both (a), the devastating effect that this incessant and ubiquitous chemical poisoning is having on us all - by using my own incredible and, for many people "unbelievable", experience with this illness as a vivid illustration and dire warning and (b), the combination of commercial, medical, scientific, and political forces that have created this scourge of modern humanity and who fight to the death to maintain it by the ruthless suppression of the truth.
It is also hoped that in addition to providing information on all aspects of MCS [ M.E./CFS and VDU Terminal Sickness also] Satori-5 might become a forum and support centre for the ever growing army of toxically injured.
