We at the Silvermoon would like to introduce you to a small organisation that we have recently decided to sponsor called:-

The Cobweb Foundation.

Back to homepage

The Cobweb Foundation is a small charity, working for the benefit of sick, disabled and underprivileged children and young adults.

Their main purpose is to provide a purpose built holiday, vocational training and therapy centre, a place where a family can holiday together as a whole, and enjoy themselves, safe in the knowledge that they can use all, or any of the village facilities, whatever their abilities.

Last year they provided holidays for around 50 children or young adults with special needs, with their families or carers, and they come from all areas of the UK, not just Scotland, and applications from families and other disability organisations are arriving daily for this year's allocations.

They receive no grants or funding of any kind from any source; other  than that which we raise through our own efforts.

The Dream~Catcher Village Project

Our fundraising program to help us build a holiday, vocational training and therapy centre is now in progress can you help?

The building of our first holiday village that will be unique in Europe, presents us with an absolutely enormous task, made easier by the generosity of our supporters.

We have now started our fundraising program to raise the estimated £8 million needed to build and support this first village.

Campaigns

We currently have two Fundraising Campaigns running, "I've Made a Child Smile" and " Dreams of a Child" for further information about these campaigns, or

If you would like to make a contribution to one (or both !!) of them please go to our Website at www.cobwebfoundation.org where you can make a donation online using your debit or credit card or send your cheque made payable to "the Cobweb Foundation" to the address below.
